The West Valley Athletic Conference Parent, Player, Coach and Administration Code of conduct:
Ware AIA (VAC) student-athletes, coaches, administrators and spectators involved in AIA (VAC) athletics and activities.

The AIA (VAC) "Pursuing Victory with Honor" initiative will create an environment in Arizona where the student-athlete, coach official and spectator is committed to "Pursuing Victory with Honor" and teamwork through TRUSTWORTHINESS, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, FAIRNESS, CARING AND CITIZENSHIP.

AIA (VAC)member schools, student-athletes, coaches, administrators and spectators are here to implement a program of assessment and accountability of the AIA (VAC) "Pursuing Victory With Honor."

IF at anytime you are not examples of this you will be asked to leave.

ALL Tryouts are Closed to Parents!

Tryout information is announced in morning announcements as well as posted on website under individual sport.

All Students MUST have a signed permission slip to try out for sports.  See Mr. Van Cleaf or your homeroom teacher for a slip.

Prospective Coaches

If you are interested in signing up to coach any of the sport teams at VMS, please ensure that you have a fingerprint clearance card and three (3) references. Thank you!

Athletes will need to be picked up at the various schools after every away game. Please plan accordingly.

• Must have own transportation home for all away games
• Please consider donating to our sports program through tax credit

Parents must provide transportation home from games.

Medical Insurance: ALL student-athletes must also have medical insurance before they will be eligible to play. If your student-athlete does not have medical coverage, it can be obtained for a low price through 1st Agency. For more information, please refer to 1st Agency. There is also a link that can be found on our district webpage (www.lesd.k12.az.us) under the "parent forms" link. Each student-athlete must submit proof of coverage before they will be eligible to play.

**For the upcoming season, sports physicals are not required.**
