6. District Safety meeting

   • Looking for volunteers to join 2-4 per site

     • Rebecca Ryan will join

   • ​​The purpose of this team/committee is to discuss, review, and brainstorm the safety procedures and initiatives in our district.

   • We are looking to schedule the first meeting for next month.

7. Request to move undesignated tax credit funds $900 to field trip account for Disneyland Scholarships

   • Would cover two students who have requested scholarship fully

   • Partially funded by scholarship at the district level

   • Site council vote all in favor of transferring funds from undesignated to field trip

8. Update on campus and upcoming events

   • Centigix visitor badges in use

   • Recently attended a safety summit with neighboring PD/Fire/Districts

   • Staffing for 25-26

     • Times can be changed w/o board approval, but district leadership is working with their advice

     • May exchange one of the LABS programs for a STRIDE classroom here at VMS. One LABS would be going to Wigwam

   • Completed lockdown

   • 2/11 - McTeacher Night, 5-7pm

   • 2/26 - Field Day

   • 2/27 - Apple Pie Tour

   • 3/5 - Family BINGO night, sponsored by Builder’s Club

   • 3/7 - School Assembly

   • 3/10-3/14 - No School Spring Break
