Principal's Message

Dear Mustang Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. As we begin the start of another school year, I am excited to welcome our new and returning Mustangs. For me, this will be my third year as the Principal of Verrado Middle School and at VMS, we believe in a strong and connected school family. This Includes not only students and staff, but also our families and community members. We are always seeking input from our families and community members, as well as ways to add dedicated volunteers on our campus. There are many opportunities for you to contribute by joining our VMS PTO, Site Council, or volunteering your time. Some ways you can volunteer your time is by signing up for “Love our schools day” which is held annually in the fall. In addition to this event, we are always looking for support with lunch duty and academic tutoring. If this is something you are interested in, please reach out to me and we can discuss further how you can help support our students at VMS. I truly believe when we are all supporting our students nothing can stop their success.

Moving forward, please be on the lookout for messages from your child’s teacher, the school, and myself. This will keep you updated and informed all year long, on what's happening at Verrado Middle. As our teachers prepare for the upcoming school year, please take time to review the student handbook with your child as this has important information regarding expectations and policies. If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out.  I look forward to working with all the wonderful students, parents, staff and community members, to make this year another successful one at VMS.

Go Mustangs!
